IT Systems Administrator - Southend on Sea / Essex - £22k
IT Systems Administrator with strong knowledge of Networking and Windows Server is required by a company based in Southend on Sea. Candidates can expect a salary if up to £22,000 + benefits.

-- Duties --
- Plan and co-ordinate network system upgrades and migrations.
- Develop and configure Internet and Network usage policies.
- Maintain and monitor daily backup systems using Veritas Backup exec.
- Monitor and maintain network and server performance levels.
- Maintain and continually update network system security to provide for latest protection against viruses and other types of network vulnerabilities.
- Document Network and Server configuration.

- Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
- Knowledge of Windows Server including Active Directory
- Hardware and Software problem solving skills
- An IT Related degree or certifications (MCP, MCSA or MCSE) would be advantageous
