Senior IT Support Engineer – Leamington Spa - £35k

A Senior IT Support Engineer with strong knowledge Internet technologies and Windows Operating Systems is required by our International Retail client based near Leamington Spa. Warwickshire. A salary up to £35,000 is offered dependent upon experience.

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for support and administration for of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Internet technologies (Content Management / HTML) as well as software applications support. You will support a medium sized company with multiple sites in the UK.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting technical faults and backing up company data and maintaining servers as well as supporting the network infrastructure and web hosting systems. Strong knowledge of Network Security including Anti-Virus, Firewalls and Backup are essential.

The IT Support Engineer will work with third party suppliers with a view to managing the upgrading and implementation of software, hardware and Windows infrastructure across the board. Previous experience of disaster recovery and setting IT strategy are essential.

Essential skills:

- Support for Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 Server

- Strong understanding and experience support Internet technologies

- Knowledge of HTML and experience of Content Management Systems

- Strong Network Security skills
